Get your motor running, head out on the highway. Steve was never more at home than when he was looking for adventure and whatever came his way. He and the three amigos toured the open roads everywhere from here to Sturgis. Steve built his own bike; took him a brief 5 years to get it perfect. It won a few trophies at local events. But, of course, he was always mechanically inclined both at work and at home. You couldn’t ask for a better dad: a strong and funny gentle giant. And he really found his calling as a granddad: his grandkids could do no wrong, one jumping into his arms while another would be pulling at his leg. Steve introduced them to COPS. He shouted at the Saints, his voice booming all the way to New Orleans. When they won he collected his fair share of bets and talked his fair share of trash, a side effect of living in Eagles’ country.
He’d meet a girl named Debbie Tiesman: she was impressed by the perfect gentleman. They’d enjoy casual times at Otts and sang a little Karaoke at JD’s. It wasn’t long till they were engaged.
He is survived by his children; Stevie (Chris) Quinn, Kathy (Mike) Forgash, and Lee Godshall, grandchildren; Jack and Nathan Quinn, Heather Lafranchi and Mike Forgash Jr., great-grandchildren Peyton Forgash and one more is on the way. Steven is going to be missed by many and his small group of great friends; Don Hardman, Steve Snow, Steve Snow Jr, Donna and Jay, Trish and Chuck, Stephanie, Dawn, Michelle, Jerry, Nicole, Matt, Bill and Nancy, Bonnie and Beano, Michelle, and his work buddy, Charlie.
