Thomas Schoenhofer

His life in technology enabled him to travel the world, installing semi-conductor wire bonding machines. It took him to numerous countries, living in Sweden, Holland,Switzerland,Austria and traveling to many others:Thailand,Israel,China,Japan and Malaysia are just a few.

He had stories from everywhere and figured how to get around just speaking English.Hanging out in the local pub ,where he was affectionately known as”MajorTom”,was a favorite pastime. He was generous to a fault, once buying a car just for friends to use while visiting from abroad .He enjoyed playing cards and fishing, once catching a Marlin off the coast of Cabo.If his TV was on , he’d be cheering on the Phillies and the Eagles, or watching Netflix.

He is survived by his siblings, David(Donna),Janet(Steve)Dahms,Peggy Wenner, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will celebrate 72 years privately.

Sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. To me he is still the playful young boy running around Riverdel. I hope the family will soothe its grieving remembering all the laughter he brought into their lives. It is so long ago I since I have seen Tom or all of you guys. My deepest sympathies.

Rest in Peace Tommy. Although we haven’t seen each other in years, I feel like it was only yesterday you were pitching another big win for our team. A friend to anyone who that got to know you. Always with an uplifting speech for someone who was down or 😅 a good wise crack to get the guys laughing. Tommy was the best team mate and a real good drinking buddy. Tommy did everything he could for his friends, I guess that’s how he got the nickname “Do It All” because he did. You are missed by many and the memory of you will be cherished by everyone lucky enough to have met you. Rest easy my friend, and may God bless and keep you safe in heaven.
