For Dolores, nothing could replace the helping hand of a neighbor. During her 52 years in Delanco she offered a helping hand anyway she could. As far back as 1954 she was serving as a volunteer crossing guard. She was always fast to support a local candidate, and even threw her momentum behind the local police department when it was in jeopardy of being replaced. She literally helped keep the town clean by serving on the sewer authority and later acting as its financial liaison. Likewise, she was there to lend a hand for 11 years as a member of the Delanco Street Watch.rn Dolores is the wife of the late John E. “Jack” Price, and is survived by her daughter Patricia Reitter of PA, her two grandsons: John E. Shaffer (Trish) and Fred Shaffer (Nykki), both of PA, 8 great-grandchildren and her two step-daughters: Jackie and Renee. She is the sister of Sister Doris Marie Gonzalez, SSJ of PA and the late Joseph A. Gonzalez, Jr. and sister-in-law to Betty of Levittown and best friend to her dog, Mickey.rn Come celebrate Dolores’ 88 wonderful years (March 12, 1924-April 14, 2012) at a graveside service Saturday at 10 AM at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Attendees can gather either at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside at 9:30 AM or at the cemetery at 10 AM.rn rn –
