Walter Pywell
He was never more at home than when standing at water’s edge, rod in hand, especially if he was with his brothers. Walt was a Delanco boy through and through; his youth spent in pick up games around the town. His music tastes were eclectic, spanning from Metallica to Country and Led Zepplin. If his T.V was on, he’d be checking out some CSI and later years found him learning about the deaf community. But, what was always most important to him was family and friends.
His job at Philadelphia Sign Company got him more than a paycheck. It’s there he’d meet Deborah Pierce. They shared a 23-year marriage framed by their wedding song, “I swear” by John Michael Montgomery. He was the brother of Marcie Simon, the late Daniel Pywell (Susan) and Timothy Pywell; and he is survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews and 1 great niece and 4 great nephews.
Come celebrate 59 great years Saturday December 1st, 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Dobbins United Methodist Church, 330 Union Ave, Delanco, where there will be a service at 11:30.
