Charlotte Schippnick (Lannon), age 89, entered into eternal life on August 31, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA to Irish immigrants Bernard and Mary Ann Lannon. Previously married to the late William Otto Schippnick Sr.
Charlotte was a graduate of Rutgers University, with a BS in accounting. She ultimately became a certified public accountant, all while raising her 5 children. She went on to obtain the license to become a financial advisor. She worked for Rosenthal & Company for 35+ years, as a CPA.
Charlotte was a devoted Catholic, a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. She knew the importance of Catholic teachings and the Catholic faith by sponsoring many children to attend Catholic school. She was giving, caring, dedicated, and a force to be reckoned with. Charlotte was a devoted mother to her 5 children, William Jr., Patricia, Keith, Christopher, and Kathleen. She enjoyed the yearly family vacation to Wildwood, NJ and camping at Worthington State Park.
Charlotte is survived by her son, William Jr. of Riverside, NJ; son Christopher Schippnick (Gail) of Whitehouse Station, NJ; and her daughter Kathleen Schippnick (Rich) of Sarasota, Florida; her grandchildren Amanda, Heather, Keith, Audrey, Chris, Ryan, Alexander, Zachary, and Michael, and her 15 great grandchildren, along with nieces Mary Francis and Beth Ann, and nephew Joseph. Charlotte is predeceased by mother and father, Bernard and Mary Ann Lannon; her spouse William Otto Schippnick Sr.; her brother Joseph Lannon; her brother Francis Lannon; her daughter Patricia Schippnick; her son Keith Schippnick; and her granddaughter Katlynn Schippnick.
Come celebrate 89 wonderful years on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 – 12:00 pm, at Sweeney Funeral Home, Beverly, NJ. Interment immediately to follow at Monument Cemetery in Beverly, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s.
