Mary G. Taylor

Mary G. Taylor

She always led with her heart; when you left her home, she always made sure you took a little gift, even if it was something as small as a perfume sample she thought you would like When Mary left the house she was dressed to the nines and was most likely off to shop til she dropped. If her clothes looked perfect, her nails looked even better. She was a hard worker often working overtime and at least two jobs but it was never just about the paycheck; she loved being around people. Her younger years found her at Office Depot and Commerce Bank, then later she worked at Walmart in Asset Protection. She wasn’t much for cooking but her chicken parm was fabulous. And if her TV was on, she be catching up with Greys Anatomy and Law and Order. Mary always made you laugh, even if she was occasionally a little sarcastic. Her laugh and smile were one of a kind and everyone knew her family came first; even grandkids as far away as Kentucky knew her love. She passed away peacefully at her sister, Carol’s, home
Mary is survived by her sons, Stephen C. Kolwicz Jr. and Shawn (Stephanie) Taylor; grandchildren: Macyla, Andy, Yukiah, Madison; great-grandchildren: Penelope, Jonah, and Cannon; her sisters: Carol (Bob) Monahan and Joyce (Doc) Horton along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Tommy, George, and Joseph Owens.
Services celebrating 67 great years will be held privately.
