Norman Manz

Norman Manz

Norm spent his career inspiring little minds at the Eastampton Community School. The kids knew him as easygoing, smart and fair. But construction could have also been his calling. He worked for Whitesell Construction in his younger years and built several homes including his own. He was a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of ’68 , St. Peters Grammar School ’64 and eventually earned a Masters in Education from Rowan. To unwind he did a little shooting at Delran Junior Marksman and watched obscure youtube channels.
He flirted with a pretty girl who worked at an audio/video company and asked her out to dinner. Norm and Denise shared a 37-year marriage. He is survived by his mother, Helen, his brother, Robert (Linda), his sister, Karen (Paul) Peterson, his brother-in-law, Dennis Manero and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Come celebrate 71 great years Saturday, August 7, 10-11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be an 11 a.m. service.

I was so saddened to hear of Norm’s passing. I knew him throughout his years teaching at Eastampton. I am so sorry for your loss.

I grew up with Norman. He lived about 8 houses away from mine. We played sports, fished and had fun on Stewart avenue. I am shocked about his sudden death and send my deepest condolences to Denise and the family.
