William Dallessandro

Billy was the kind of guy you could always count on, no matter what you needed or when you needed it. He worked as a mechanic most of his life, and most recently spent almost10 years at Shafts and Sleeves in Robeling. He was the kind of person who enjoyed working with his hands and taking care of things, whether it was on the job, around his home, or out in his yard. He took great pride in his garden, and loved keeping everything green, filled with flowers and well cared for. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding on his Harley, but later in life he became a RAM truck man.

Billy’s greatest love, however, was his wife, Charlene. Their story began when they both worked at Seagull Lighting, where they were introduced through Bill’s mother. She had a kitten Charlene wanted and Billy brought it to her, and from that, the rest was history. He brought her the kitten and never left. They went on to share 33 wonderful and loving years together. Bill loved cooking his homemade pasta sauce, which was his Mom’s recipe and spending time with Charlene and their dog, Bella. Their cats Dakota, Serenity and Chloe loved him so much, especially Serenity. They are together again with their dog Bandit. Every year they enjoyed vacations to Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos where Bill would fish and Charlene would enjoy the sunshine.

Bill is predeceased by his parents John and Sara Dallessandro.

He is survived by his wife Charlene, his sisters and brother, along with relatives and friends.
